Meet up...

Had a great meeting with Bobsie Robinson at Bradford Council this morning to talk about the future of the King of Bowling Back Lane / the Northern School. 

Sounds like she's got some great things going on - particularly with the Creative Apprentice Scheme. Great to hear that young people are getting support to get into the Creative Industries. 

We're looking at Spring 2016 for a fantastic event at the Bradford Playhouse, involving loads of creatives from Bradford and environs. Pretty excited about staring that journey and who I'll get to meet along the way. I've got a fantasy league of people I'd love to be involved, and I'm sure there are plenty of others who will spring up along the way. 

We've also sent off a copy of the England, Arise! script to a young man at Cambridge who has been in touch as he is looking for a play to work on next term. It would be great to get the story of Arthur, Percy and the women out to as many people as possible. 

Right now though, I'm thinking all things Berlin and Kiel and resistance to war, so peace...
